    An introductory to Cascading Stone Earrings Class Nov 27

    In this class you will learn:

    How to open and close Jump Rings,

    Adding a loop to a headpin,

    and Assembling the earring.

    In this class you will make:

    Stone Dangle Earrings, with a cascade effect.

    Difficulty level of item: Beginner,

    This class is for people who want to learn how to make cascade effect earrings, and people who know how to,

    but would like to sharpen their skills

    Materials:

    8mm Stone

    2-3 mm Stone (or spacer bead)

    Jump Rings in 2 sizes

    Head Pins

    Shepherd Hook Earring

    all materials must be bought at the store on the day of the class so please arrive 20-30min early.

  2. December 8: Basic Stringing Workshop: 1pm-3pm Class

    Sunday December 8 1-3pm North Store

    Basic Stringing Workshop:

    In this introductory workshop, you will learn the techniques to make professional-quality bracelets, necklaces and earrings.

    What you will learn:

    -Stringing bracelet or necklace on beading wire

    -Make crimps that don't come apart

    -Attach clasps and jump rings

    -Make design decisions

    Class is dedicated to learning the techniques listed above. You will learn to design and make your own simple strung bracelet in class, and leave with the skills to make amazing jewelry on your own.

    Choosing your materials and designing your project is part of this class. You will choose from our large selection of materials in store. (cost of materials will vary depending on what you choose) All necessary tools will be provided in the class. You are welcome to bring your own.

  3. OPEN SESSION - DECEMBER 1

    THE BEAD STORE OPEN SESSIONS.

    WHAT IS IT?

    An open session is an opportunity for our customers to come in and learn from our staff and other customers that attend. It is a community building session that allows for any kind of projects RELATED TO JEWELRY MAKING to come in and get help, or just a creative space for you to do your own work. Basically you will come to the store and work on your own projects; you can ask for help and who ever knows how to help or whoever is willing to help, can help.

    absolutely nothing. Customers will buy product from the store; before you go to use it.

    THE BEAD STORE IS PROVIDING A CREATIVE SPACE FOR CUSTOMERS TO USE AND WORK. NO TOOLS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR RENT, ALL ITEMS MUST BE BOUGHT PRIOR TO USE.

    This class option is for people who want to take 1 on 1 class lessons.

    you can choose one of the following, each of the options below are considered to be 1 class. The prices do not include materials, the price only includes the teachers time. Starred Class times need to be approved with teacher. Should you need to cancel, give us 24 hours notice, we will refund and prepayment fee. If you do not cancel 24 hours in advance, refunds will not be issued.

    1 Basics of Peyote: Beginner Friendly Come learn how to make bails, toggle clasps, rings and more.

    2 Bezels: Learn how to use seed beads to create bezels. Techniques covered will include: Peyote, Netted, Weave Class time will only permit on technique to be completed

    3 Stringing - Design and Techniques: Beginner Friendly Want to learn how to string your own beads? Using beading wire and crimp beads, and various findings you will learn how to create your own professional looking jewelry.

    4 Create your own class. (private tutorial, class size 1-3 people max) Your class – Your choice of topic – a time convenient for you. Let us know
